Purpose:
To enable students to attend the 10th FIMSA Advanced Immunology Training Course (AITC) at Tangalooma, from 3-6, December 2009.

Eligibility:
Students must be registered to attend the FIMSA AITC 2009 course, be currently enrolled in a post-graduate degree and be members of an immunological society within FIMSA (see link for member societies).
For ASI sponsored scholarships, students must have been members of ASI for the year of teh meeting and have paid their  subscription by April 1.

Value:
Students not enrolled in Australia or New Zealand are eligible for scholarships sponsored by FIMSA and IUIS up to the value of USD $1500. Australian and NZ enrolled students are eligible for ASI sponsored scholarships of AUD $500. Any expenses not covered by the scholarship will have to be met by scholarship recipients.

Application deadlines:
For FIMSA/IUIS sponsored scholarships August 15th, 2009. Outcome announced by August 31st 2009.
For ASI sponsored scholarships – September 18th, 2009. Outcome announced by November 30th 2009.
 
Assessment Criteria:
Applications will be ranked by their CV, publications and participation in local immunological society activities by a panel of judges from the local organising committee. Preference will be given to students registered to attend both ASI and FIMSA AITC 2009.

NOTE:  If you are unsuccessful in your scholarship application and wish to cancel your registration, no cancellation fee will apply.
