Registration Desk
The registration desk is open on Sunday 6th December from 12:00 noon. The registration desk will be located on the Pavilion Foyer for the duration of the conference. Operating hours are:

•    Sunday 6th December, 2009 – 12:00 noon to 6pm
•    Monday 7th December, 2009 – 7:00am to 6pm
•    Tuesday 8th December, 2009 – 7:30am to 6pm
•    Wednesday 9th December, 2009 – 7:30am to 6pm
•    Thursday 10th December, 2009 – 8am to 1pm

Session Locations

The oral sessions will be held in Surfers Paradise 1, Surfers Paradise 2, Surfers Paradise 3, Coolangatta 3 / 4 and the plenary lectures in the Gold Coast Room. The poster sessions will be held in the Exhibition Area and Pavilion Foyer.

Location of Lunches and Tea Breaks
All lunches and tea breaks will be held in the Exhibition Area.

Speaker Preparation Instructions
Presentations are to be loaded to the speaker preparation room (Coolangatta 2) at least one hour before your session. The presentation network is PC based using MS PowerPoint (both 2003 and 2007 versions will work). If you wish to present on a MAC platform you will need to clear first with the technician in the speaker preparation room. Bringing your own MAC may make this easier.

Internet Café
There will be an internet café located in the Exhibition Area. The café will consist of 4 terminals. Please see the registration desk for wireless internet details.

Displaying your Poster
All posters will be displayed in the Exhibition Area and Pavilion Foyer. Every poster will have a number corresponding to the abstract number in this book. Your poster is to be displayed for the entire duration of your poster session, and removed following the session. We do not take any responsibility for posters left on display after this time. The maximum size provided is 1m wide by 1.2m high. The approved way of attaching your abstract to the boards is with Velcro. Please visit the organiser's office for additional supplies.

Name Tags
Delegates and registered partners/children are required to wear their name tags to all scientific and catered sessions.

Hotel Check Outs
You are required to check out of your room before 10am at the Mantra Phoenician Apartments and Meriton Apartments and 11am at Conrad Jupiter’s and Sofitel Broadbeach. The Hotel reception has facilities to store your luggage. You will need to settle additional private expenses yourselves on departure.

Smoking  
Smoking is not permitted in the venue.

Dress Code
The dress code for conference sessions is casual.

Social Functions

•    Welcome Function – Sunday 6th December from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in the Exhibition Area.
•    Student Function – Tuesday 8th December from 7:30pm to 11:30pm at the Skylight Room, Q Deck.
    Taxis depart Conrad Jupiters rank at 7:15pm for the Skylight Room, Q Deck.
•    Conference Dinner – Wednesday 9th December from 7pm to 11pm poolside at Conrad Jupiters. Beachwear is optional.
